TeleFinder v2.5 and above has a find file capability. However, since it's a new feature, seasoned users tend to forget about it. Find File is another reason you want to pay attention to your file names, as users will attempt to use meaningful kinds of names. We don't know anybody who would attempt a search for "SuitII12.cpt", or some of the really strange names that files take on as they make the rounds of various BBS' and info services.   TeleFinder's Find File will give you the file info simply by clicking on the name in the list, or you can use the "Move to Desk" button to place the file on your desktop for later batch downloading. You may need to remind users that they can do this.   Give some thought to using something like SpeedyCD, if you are using a CD ROM player on your BBS. It allows you to make changes to the desktop icons, bringing the arrangement more inline with your hard disk drive folder arrangements. And, it sure improves file browsing access time.
